Integrative
Healing Partners

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. At We the Free, we believe in the power of collaboration—working alongside trusted professionals who support the whole person. As part of your journey, you may be introduced to partners in wilderness therapy, fitness, or nutrition, who offer  experiences that build resilience, self-awareness, and connection. These integrative resources expand the work we do in session, helping you rebuild from the inside out—mind, body, and soul.

Therapy Services That Go Deeper

At We the Free, we help you move beyond just coping. Our therapy is designed to get to the root of trauma, shame, and relational wounds—so you can experience true healing, not just temporary relief. Whether you're carrying the weight of past pain, navigating the effects of PTSD, or feeling disconnected in your relationships, this is a place to reconnect with your strength, your story, and your sense of self.

We specialize in trauma recovery, nervous system regulation, and integrative therapy that honors both science and soul. For couples, we offer tools to rebuild trust, deepen connection, or navigate separation with clarity and care—especially when co-parenting is part of the journey.

You are not broken. You are becoming.

And we’re here to walk with you toward lasting transformation.

Hi, I’m Maryanna Petersen—I help people who feel like they've lost connection to their self and need to find a new path.

After 20 years as a therapist, I’ve learned that traditional talk therapy only goes so far when you’re stuck in anxiety spirals, carrying trauma you can’t shake, frozen in life, and feeling disconnected from who you are. I work with your thought process, nervous system, and your emotional reactivty to create a system where you feel equipped to navigate life’s ups and downs with ease.

We’ll get your body to stop feeling like the enemy, and start trusting yourself again. No more second-guessing every decision and feeling like you’re performing. Instead, you can feel like you're living your own authentic life.

This isn’t about managing your symptoms forever- it’s about new tools, techniques, and strategies to navigate life.

If you’re tired of trying to hold it all together on your own, you're in the right place.

You’re not too much. You’re not behind.

You’re right on time—and you don’t have to figure it out alone.

You don’t have to have it all figured out—just be willing to take the first step. Healing,

Maryanna Petersen
